Review Process

All published/accepted research articles in PJS undergo rigorous peer review, based on preliminary initial screening by the Editor-in-Chief then sent to the subject specialists i.e. one national and other international for thorough review and comments as an independent expert and then again to the authors for revision. This revised paper is sent to the Editor concerned for comments and if needed will be sent back to authors. After correction it will be sent to the Senior Editor for comments. After his comments it may be sent back to the authors or otherwise may send to Editor-in-Chief. Lastly the Editor-in-Chief will go through the manuscript thoroughly and critically and will send it back to the authors for proposed final revision. The Editor-in-Chief may accept or reject the paper based on the comments of the reviewers, editors, senior editor and the performance of the authors during the course of revision.

  • If rejected, then the Author is required to resubmit the paper after making full revision provided it is recommended by the reviewers, editors, Senior Editor.
  • If accepted and fulfills the best level of requirements then the paper is sent for Publication.
